Glennie stands on the banks of the Deveron, one of Scotland's premier salmon rivers and Glennie is one of the best beats on the whole river.
It is a 2 rod beat with 10 named pools. Around 100 salmon and sea trout are caught each year. There is a mile of double bank, well kept river at the foot of the garden - enough for 2 rods. If more fishing is required there are many suitable beats to be had elsewhere.
Glennie is unique in offering fishing within a short walk of the house, ensuring ease of access and the flexibility to return to the house for breaks in the day. Lunch can be taken in the charming fishing hut or in the main house.
The house can be taken on its own both during the fishing season and at other times of the year. For late bookings, if the fishing has already been taken, there may be other water available nearby.
